Just a quick update on little Miss Emma...She was so great at her 6 month check up this morning and only cried for a couple seconds after the much hated shots! She's such a trooper! She gave the doc great smiles and kept trying to roll off the exam table. Here's a quick snapshot of her "stats" at 6 months!
Weight : 17 lbs 8.3 oz - 74% percentile
Length : 26 1/2 inches - 73% percentile
Head circ. : 16.93 inches - 62% percentile
As you can see, Emma has "leveled" off which is very typical for babies once they start to be come more mobile and also for breastfed babies (as her height/weight were in the upper 80's on the growth charts previously!)
Another update - on Sunday, we officially started Emma on her "first foods" and she LOVES peas thus far. To be continued on other veggies.... but we were pretty excited at this milestone :) She also officially learned to roll from her back to her tummy over the weekend - evidenced by us finding her laying flat on her tummy in the morning on Sunday! Way to go Emma!
Before we know it, we'll be seeing her crawl! Pictures to be posted later but wanted to give a quick update on how her latest appointment went.
